don’t worry, I’ll leave the megaphone home!

Capturing the raw, unscripted moments of your special day is my passion. I specialize in documentary-style wedding photography, seamlessly blending candid shots with carefully curated posed images. My goal is to immortalize the genuine emotions, laughter, and tears that make your wedding day uniquely yours.

I believe that the true magic lies in the authenticity of the moment. Documenting your wedding is not just about creating beautiful images; it's about preserving the real connections, the stolen glances, and the shared laughter. My approach is to be a silent observer, allowing you to relive the organic beauty of your day through my lens.

While I thrive on capturing candid moments, I also understand the importance of creating timeless portraits. My style incorporates a mix of posed shots that showcase your love story in a way that feels natural and unforced. Think of it as a curated blend of documentary and classic photography – the perfect recipe for a visual narrative that stands the test of time.

The world is a vibrant palette, and I am committed to preserving the authenticity of your wedding day by ensuring that the colors in your photos are as vivid and true to life as your memories. From the soft pastels of a sunset ceremony to the rich hues of a lively dance floor, every color is a chapter in your love story.

More about me:

  • I'll do ANYTHING to take a great picture even is if means ruining my clothes or getting wet.

  • I'm a Justice of the Peace in the State of Connecticut. No, I've never performed a ceremony and photographed it too, although I can be the officiant and sign a marriage license for a ceremony that I witness while photographing. I've done that for a bride and groom where the ceremony was performed by a close family friend who wasn't a JP or ordained.

  • In high school I worked at Chuck E Cheese. I was the big cheese. I dressed up in the mouse costume, danced, and animatedly walked around.

  •  I co-founded I Love New Haven in 2012. I Love New Haven is a photo blog that celebrates the people, places, and things of New Haven, CT. In 2023 I founded I Love Connecticut (www.ilovect.org), which is a photo blog that celebrates the people, places, and things, of Connecticut.

  • So far the farthest wedding that I've photographed was in Portland Oregon at the World Forestry Center.

  • I also own The Notorious P.I.C , an interactive photo-booth experience company with my partner Teresa.
